Yes it is a four-letters OM camera, but it has some features that put it on
an intermediate league like:
brighter screen
TTL OTF flash
ESP (that is "matrix") metering that can substitute spot or backlight button
in many situations
Not a real battery eater if you keep it on manual mode when not in use.
