A tester is next on my shopping list! As a long time user of an almost 40
year old all mechanical no frills, no TTL metering, no metering at all
rangefinder camera I never needed one. I liked things plain and simple
......... like being a long long time VW owner you don't worry about power
air conditioning, just wind down the windows! Now that I am in the
electronic camera age a battery tester looks to be a necessity!!

I've taken my bath of abuse but I don't feel at all bad! Everyone's comments
has been appreciated and I do agree that I could have been taken for a ride.
