When I was at Antelope Canyon a couple of years ago, I used a Minolta
Spotmeter 4 to spot the brightest and darkest areas and then calculate the
average - the same as an OM4Ti would do. (Confession - I was using a
Mamiya 6.....) The Oly's meter is more sensitive than the Minolta so you
should have no problems with it. Using Fujichrome Provia 100 I seem to
recall exposures being in the region of 16 seconds at f22, but I'd bracket
anyway. Provia (and Velvia) is particularly good for reciprocity - no
compensation required for shorter than 30 seconds IIRC. The results were
spot-on, anyway!
>From memory, the OM4's meter goes down to -1EV in manual/spot and -5EV in
normal auto. (The Minolta is +1EV.)
