Last week I was in Columbus, OH taking care of some business for Olaf Greve.
I also stopped in another store, Midwest Photo. I have established a pretty
good relationship with the guys that handle the OM part of the store.
One of the items for sale was a 15V Control Grip for the Motor Drive 2. I
asked how much it was and if it worked. The response was "we don't know if
it works or not, we don't have anything to test it with. And as far as
price, that depends on whether or not it works". They then asked me if I
would like to take it with me and see if it could be determined if the
Control Grip functioned or not.
I stated that I didn't have a motor to test it one and they replied that
someone in our group surely did. So, why didn't I just take it with me and
see what happened.
So, I have this Control Grip in need of: a charger, a motor and someone who
can determine proper function. Any takers?
Also, as my wife and I have been reviewing our gear, we have decided that
our original Olympus S case is impractical for the way we now use our
cameras. Is anyone out there interested in a VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT
condition S case?
It has rarely been out of the house, still has the key with it. There was
one about a month ago on eBay rated excellent. If that one was excellent,
this one is mint. No abuse anywhere.
Will trade for OM-3 or equivalent to this case, maybe even $.:)
Let me know.
About the Control Grip... geez, I have no idea where to start....
