Most 1-hour lab printers use a zoom lens, perhaps it is set too tight, in
other words, too much zoom for the print size. This can be adjusted by a
good lab tech. We set ours to just cover 4x6 borderless. If it is a
Noritsu printer setting this is easy, just a matter of rotating the barrel
of the lens and refocusing, about a 1/2 hour job. On some others, Konica
for instance, the zoom can be changed by choosing a different # setting in
the lens control of the computer.

BTW we have all our sizes set up for full frame from 35mm--4x6, 5x7.5, 6x9,
8x12, then we allow the customer to mat or trim to fit standard frame
sizes.
In most cases for all formats -- 110, 35mm, 645,6x6,6x7,6x9 we set the lens
for the critical width of the paper and adjust the length of the paper feed
to the max. length of the frame.

Best Wishes, Mike
