I guess I'm the odd man out here (what else is new?) I use a 50/1.8 for
a loupe, but I look thru the back of the lens. This way, it has more
coverage of the slide, I can see almost the entire 35mm slide at once. I
stacked two filters on the front and the distance from the slide is
perfect.
