I am in Hong Kong. According to my past experience I would say prices are
similar to US. I haven't bought anything recently but the Asian economic
crisis might have caused shops to trim down margins.
I checked prices in Singapore a few years ago. They were not particularly
attractive however Malaysia was very competitive. I bought a Nikon F50
(N50?) SLR for my wife on that occasion.
