James,
Sounds like you have a remote sensor for the Olympus Quick 310 flash. The
310 flash works in the TTL mode only with an OM-2 (not even an OM2n).
However, by placing the Remote Sensor on the camera shoe and connecting the
sensor to the 310, the 310 will also work with any camera with a standard
hot shoe. By using the 310 on the Bounce Grip (not BG2), you can bounce or
angle the flash while directing the Remote Sensor toward the subject.
The 310 would be set to manual mode and the Remote Sensor would then allow
one of the 3 (if I remember right) aperture settings for "automatic
exposure". Again, this is not a TTL, it is strictly for
non-through-the-lens use. BUT, a good remote!

i picked up an unknown Olympus flash accessory yesterday, and i'm hoping
someone can shed light as to its' purpose. it is a flash sensor that mounts
on top of the hotshoe, and it has a short (2 feet) cord attached to it. the
cord has two prongs on the end, one flat and one round. on top of the
"accessory" it says remote sensor, and there is a small dial akin to a flash
dial on top. i also got a 20 foot cord that has a flash socket on one end,
and the two prongs on the other. i imagine it is for the macro flashes, but
i'm not sure. can anyone identify this "remote sensor" and tell me what
flashes it can be used with.

i hope a T-32. otherwise, does anyone need this accessory??????

thanks for any help, james.
