Howdy Olympians,
Last Sunday, May 23rd I went to the Monrovia Camera Show
I met the infamous Gary Schloss and another Olympus Net participant
and photographed them in action. I used my old Zuiko 55mm f1.2 lens
which is my favorite for low light level shots.
A UV "Black" filter that I ordered from B&H finally came (six weeks
special order)
and I wanted to test it with a roll of Tmax 400/800 so I set up the
tripod and camera
with flash and took some bracket series of some composite flowers. It
is really a pain
to put that filter on and off with out changing the focus on a macro
shot! So my question
is this: where can I get a Wratten 18A filter gel that will fit behind
the shutter but in front
of the film plane so I can use the viewfinder to focus?

PS There is another camera show coming up June 13th in Pasadena at the
Elks
Lodge 400 W. Colorado Blvd. Is anyone on the list going? If Olympus
people
go it might be fun to meet there and go have a bite to eat at some local
establishment
like the TOGO's on Lake Street !
