Hi Tim,
My three OM-1's have been CLA'ed and they are all different. Another way to
calibrate is to buy one of George Wallace's Expodiscs, which when placed on
the lens like a lens cap filters the equivalent of 18 0ray light and
allows you to use the in-camera meter as an incident light meter as well as
to flash individual frames to reduce contrast using OM's ever-so-convenient
double exposure system ;-) With the Expodisc in place, you can point the
camera and lens set to f16 directly at the sun between 10 AM and 2 PM on a
cloudless day and use this to calibrate the proper ASA. Only one of my
OM-1's is on the money at the recommended ASA. Wallace's site is
