<<What are the opinions out there on this lens, especially
when compared to the 28 2.8? Gary's tests seem to indicate
good performance at f8 (better than 28 2.8). But when
posting his review he indicated he didn't like the lens very
much. What are some of the lists experiences with this lens? Its
inexpensive price makes it a good candidate for a temp 28mm lens
(until I can splurge for a 28 2).....

What to you folks think?

If you find a nice one and you don't find a nice 2.8
or if you can't afford a 2.8. buy the 3.5.
It is a Zuiko after all!
If the speed is an issue, look or save for a 2.8
My 3.5 is just fine. That is about as much of an official
lens test as I can come up with.
The results are sharp, the lens is built well and for
some reason the wider the lens the brighter the image in
the viewfinder. (for me but I'm a little nuts).
I usually use it at f8 or f11 so speed isn't a factor for me.
