I've used the screw in hood that came with the 28mm f3.5 Zuiko with a 1A
filter without vignetting problems, and for the 50mm f1.8, and 35 - 70mm
f3.5-f4.5 Zuiko zoom lenses I use an Olympus clamp-on rubber hood with a
filter. The advantage of the clamp-on as against a screw in hood is that it
can be slid right back to the aperture ring if need be, to prevent it from
adding to the depth. It still has to be clamped to the front ring of a
polariser though or you can't rotate it!
Can't recall ever seeing vignetting on any of my exposures, but maybe that's
me, as I can't see any on my XA pictures either.
