George,
I agree about critiques on-list, but I can't imagine personally that I
would EVER critique a photo unless I was invited by the specific
photographer to do that, and I'm quite certain that I would take it off-list.
I suspect that what will flood the list is kudos to various folks for good
shots. I can't see anything wrong with that. We do that now with regard
to gallery submissions.
