  I'll 'third' this thread. It would be foolish to take the new camera
on your trip unless you'd had a fair amount of experience with it.
As Richard pointed out, the do-it-all 28-200's are fairly feeble
sharpness-wise below f/8-11, and most deliver mediocre image quality
above 120mm. Your OM primes will be much sharper, specially below 
f/11. If all you do is use ISO 400-800 print film, and stick to 4x6's
the 28-200 will do.
