This gave me a good laugh, when I remember I've seen, on several occasions,
2nd hand gear advertised as being special because it had the "gold 'passed'
sticker _still attached_" - perhaps as 'proof' of its mintiness, and of
course as justification for charging extra...

second hand market with the stickers still on. My own OM2n was just such an
item, and when I removed the sticker I was left with an oval patch on the
chrome with a different shade to the rest.

remove the JMDC stickers from your new equipment.
