Each glue has its own characteristics. Cyanacrolate is thinner than water,
runs and dribbles everywhere and forms a brittle crust when dry.
There are occasional open screw holes on focus rings which have no screws
in them. These would allow the super glue to flow into the focus helicoid.
The application of rubber cement allows the focus rubber to be easily peeled
off for flens maintanence. Super glue may require the replacement of the
focus rubber due to tearing.
