Two suggestions: First, make sure you are using 357 cells, Eveready. I 
believe they are sold as hearing aid or watch batteries, so you may not find 
them in a photo store. I get them at Wal-Mart or the drug store. These will 
give the longest life.

Second, you may want to be careful how you pack your camera. I always set my 
OM-4 and OM-2S to red 60 or B when I put it in my bag. I suspect some of my 
past battery life failures are caused by partially depressed shutter releases 
leaving the meter and display turned on. Switching to one of the two 
mechanical speeds leaves the meter off at all times.
