Then I'd be glad to learn a reliable (Internet) source where you would trust
to buy a used Zuiko from :-)
I haven't bought a lens on eBay yet. I just mentioned it for price
reference.

I haven't bought from ebay, and am unlikely to do so, because I like to look
and feel and touch before I buy. All I am saying is that if you buy from an
internet auction site you are buying, essentially, sight unseen in an
anonymous trading free for all.. If you are prepared to take the good with
the bad experiences I am sure that ebay is the way to go. As for me I prefer
to see exactly what I am buying before I part with my money!
If I did buy used lenses or other items on the internet I would feel much
more comfortable buying from a list member. Unlike ebay, this list is a
community of regular correspondents with what I sense is an elevated sense
of decency and respect all round.
