[OM] Kodak processing rant/question (no OM content)

I just got back the second ruined roll of slides in recent history from Kodak
Dallas. They claim that the film (Kodachrome 25) twisted in the processor and "
the wrong side of the film was presented to the yellow re-exposure
printer...resulted in the blue cast you will see on your film." Interesting
sunset
shots of Blue Sands National Monument.

I ran literally hundreds of rolls of Kodachrome a year through Kodak labs some
10-20 years ago and never had one ruined. Now that I am once again shooting
slides
frequently this has happened again. Anyone else noting more frequent ruined
slides
from Kodak?

At least this time they replaced the ruined film with the a roll of the same...
though is has only 5 months to expiration date. Last time they replaced the pro
Fujichrome they ruined with a higher speed Kodak amateur film.

Yeah, I know the solution: Fujichrome and a more expensive lab (I have 2
reliable
labs that I use for more pressing schedules than shots of my nephew on our
vacation, but they cost 50-100% more). I was only using Kodachrome to see what
the
current crop is like.
