I have been experimenting with a Vari Magnifinder, and would like to find
out from the list if it's behavior is normal:
On 1.25x, I can easily focus the VM on the focusing screen. When I switch to
2.5x, it is way out of focus, and in fact there is not range enough in the
VM focusing barrel to bring the screen into focus. The only way to use 2.5x
is to change the OM4's diopter correction from where I normally keep it (I'm
mildly near-sighted).
Is this focus change from 1.25x to 2.5x normal, or is something wrong with
the VM?
