No, they are not that blue, the filter was - not a skylight. It was
around sunset, cloudy sky and the tomb is obscured from the sun by a row of
trees to
the right and so is in shadow. Adding a Pl would have made the viewfinder
rather
dim given the generaly low light level prevalent and the filter I was already
using.
