I guess I'll be the next to testify to the Cambridge legacy, one way or the
other. The full text of my original message follows below. Anyone own a
Cambron lens?

I recently ordered a Samyang 18-28 zoom from Cambridge. The price was an
unbelievable $129.50. I haven't rec'd it yet, but ordered it based on a
review I had read long ago. The sales person tried to sell me 'up' to the
Cambron model at $169. He said it was a better lens. Employing the
proverbial 'grain of salt', I stuck with the Samyang. Judging by the latest
reference of zooms in the Popular Photography 07/99 issue, they could be the
same lens. Anyone know for sure?
Has anyone had remarkable experiences with Cambridge? --I should have asked
prior to ordering.... oh well.
