I *tried* to see the problem in photos, without much success.  So I'm
relying on Gary's tests, which are more rigorously uniform and have a
better subject matter (GS maps).  

All my tests show is that there is some movement.  They don't pinpoint
exact sequences or causality.  Matched to Gary's tests, however, I think
one starts to conclude that something in the shutter/aperture stopdown
actuation creates movement which at certain speeds degrades the recorded
image.
