I want to ask you a question about this, cuz some mags I s*ubscib*e to, and some
I buy on the newstand... The ones I s*ubscrib*e to are the ones that, when they
come, they come... like Gourmet :-) The ones I buy on the newstand (and living
in NYC we are blessed with great newstands) are the ones that I really lust
for, and one thing I HATE is when I have a subscription to a mag and see it on
the stands before I get it in the mail. PT obviously falls in the latter
category! So can you explain briefly why it is more beneficial for the
publisher for readers to subscribe (besides of course you getting a chunk of
money up front) than buying on the newsstand?
