Right, but do you think they are going to make the *manual* focusing more 
user-friendly on an M-version?

Don't expect autofocus with M lenses.  The only way would be for Konica to 
introduce a line of M-mount lenses with autofocus built-in.   What you'd 
get then would be the equivalent of a Contax G1/G2.
