"Mount[ing] and guiding" is like, putting the camera on a star tracker?

Most "star trackers" aren't accurate enough by themselves. "Mounting and guiding" refers to "mounting" your camera piggy-back on a telescope, then manually (or semi-automatically) "guiding" the exposure by making small adjustments to the telescope equitorial mount.

So-called "star trackers" are not accurate enough for any but very short exposures. You use them together with tiny manual adjustments (and cross-hair eyepieces) on long exposures.

Requisite OM content: author Michael Covington uses Olympus OM gear, and was once a list member. His book on astrophotography is an excellent way to get started, and is filled with photos with Olympus credits.
