If a polaroid is really needed and you are shooting 35mm [Oly of course] try 
one of the very inexpensive pola cameras you can get 2nd hand and use
that as your basic check. I saw a very famous photographer doing just that on a 
doco when he was shooting 35mm. After all polaroid is only a guide and
more often than not quite different to your actual tranny.
I have a polaroid back for my Hasselblad but use it less and less. Other 
photographers wont shoot without them. It really comes down to the way you
feel comfortable working.
