Uh, no, or at least not quite in my experience...

24mm f2: eight
35mm f2: six
100mm f2: nine

Dear Z & Z's,
Came to realize that the Zuiko family of f2 lenses are really commendable.
So I just checked my 28/f2 and 85/f2 and found they both have 8 blades
instead of the usual 6 found in the other lenses such as the 50/1.8,
100/f2.8 ; 24/f2.8 ; 16FE .

Is it true that these more blades contribute to the superlative performance
of these lenses ? How ?

Also heard that more blades equal better 'bokeh' . How does this work ?

Does anyone have a 50/f2 Mac ? How many blades does it have ?

Do the entire family of Zuik f2's all have 8 blades ?
