Maybe not that far off. My father in law is a building contractor, he
often looks for very quite bathroom exhaust fans (the customers demand
it). They just might be in "Consumers" or some such magazine.
Otherwise, Squirrel cage (centrifugal) type fans are generally quieter
than bladed (axial) fans. Hope this helps.
