RIP (rest in peace) Dear SUV.
I had kept the fact that I bought a Jeep Cherokee (used)
for toting photo equipment and trailblazing to myself for fear
that someone would remember that I was not a fan of SUV overkill
on our roads. Well I guess the Gods were paying attention.
The thing was in an accident before it was properly registered.
I still registered it yesterday so I would be ready to go when it got out of
the shop.
I was at DMV for 6 1/2 hours.
Well, the insurance guy just called to tell me it is a complete loss and
will
never see the back roads I mapped out with Gary Reese's help yesterday
afternoon!
Why am I telling you this now, you ask.
I want sympathy.
And Gary, how about some new roads that I don't need the Jeep for?
