Another thing to check (or maybe you didn't mention it?) are both
"auto=check" lights out or just one of them? It may be that one of the
LEDs burned out or is otherwise out of commission. I don't think you
mentioned whether you're talking of the light on the back panel of the T32
or the one in the OM1n finder (I have the exact combo). In the finder,
there's a red LED above the meter needle. A quick flashing indicates
proper "auto" exposure; if it doesn't blink, the subject did not receive
enough light; if it goes out, full power was emitted (GM 32m), if it
blinks slow, then half-power was emitted (GN 16m).
Also, it wouldn't hurt to look at the auto-sensor hidden inside the "O" of
the "Olympus" on the front of the T32--see that there's no gunk or lint
trapped in there so it can receive light from the subject.
ANd last but not least, a quick cleaning of all contacts wouldn't hurt.
You probably knew most of this, but like catmaster said, no one has yet
responded, so I took the liberty.
Of course, if there's a mistake, I'll get jumped on immediately <G>.
Hope this was of some assistance to you.

/Acer "steppenwolf" Victoria, not quite a vet, but getting there ;-)
