I thank you for you advice. However in the process of trying new
alkaline batteries, the flash charged up in good time but 20-30 seconds
later there was an OMinous "pphhfftt" accompanied by a sickening smell
of burnt electronics ====
This is meant to make you feel better ;-)
I once had two T32s one burned up and the other was dropped.
Oly fixed the burned one but said the casing on the dropped one was a goner.
It was unrepairable.
The repaired one is still performing great after several years.
I don't remembe rhow much it cost to fix.
