It's a bit high for the US used market, but you have to judge what
"never used" is worth to you. . .

I see them on eBay for $100 to $150.

What??  The inquiry was in regards to a New in Box example.

You're quoting me out of context, Gary. The point I made was that he would have to decide if the price differential was worth the "never used" status.

is a major factor in price and prices without conditions are confusing, at
best.

The other point I made was that "never used" does not necessarily mean "working perfectly." In a fruitless search for a 135/4.5 macro in NYC last spring, I saw a number of "never used" lenses pulled from dealer shelves that had sticky, oily diaphragms.
