Good point. There is no guarantee that the chemicals are mixed evenly in
the pack, and even if they were, during shipping the finer components will
probably migrate to the bottom. My understanding has always been that the
large packs were intended to be made up completely at least into a stock
solution prior to use. I seem to remember reading words to this affect on
packs of powdered chemicals I have bought.
