Besides me that is. I noticed another media credentialled motor sports
photographer shooting with OMs (OM1s no less). If you're on this list,
apologies that I didn't say hi and chat of things "zuiko related." A
belated "hi" is in order now.
Beautiful weather, great light, exciting American Le Mans Series sports
cars to shoot...now ready for the hours of sorting and scanning slides.
I'll get the ones that make the cut up on my web page in a week or so.
Rave reviews in the Sunday morning safety meeting about the new Provia
100F. I didn't get to try any myself, but those who did were all very
impressed. Comments included raving about how fine the grain is ("like
an ISO 25" "enlargements look like they came from medium format") and
about how it can be pushed two full stops with no degradation of grain
or color balance. As a long time user of RDP and now RDP II I am excited
to hear that Fuji has just raised the bar and look forwards to trying
this stuff.
Just had to share, was a great weekend of shooting for me.
