I think Western Samoa is actually more East to the dateline than Tonga.
As a country on a whole, Tonga wins though.
I saw a piece about how 2 land owners in New Zealand were vying for the
bucks from big media for using their outcrop of land to take the millenium
photo's.
I guess they don't have a National Geographic map of the Earth.
Unless Chatham Is. is part of NZ. (ooops, it is)
