Time to leave is about 7 PM.
You would have to run all the way to see two major sights in Zion in a day,
which is not a large area as NP's go.
A one week vacation would get you _some_ of the great sights and awful sore
feet.
Most people would never make it to the one mile tunnel, one of the nearer
sights to the main gate.
I wonder if the people of St. George would like a nice bus staging area in
their
quaint little community?

I am not trying to be contentious, just thrashing things out.
