Philip,

I use the 38 mm with the (original OM) Telescopic Extension Tube. I use the
T28-twin with it most of the time but a T32 with the 21mm diffusor works
about as good. I never use a tripod for this kind of work, the thing I like
most about working this way is stalking the insects close enough to focus
and take a picture. I do not use any automatic (OTF) exposure, setting the
flash to manual and presetting the aperture is more reliable in my case. If
you do use OTF then you need to do a lot of exposure-corrections. Getting
things in focus is the hard part!
