well, you need mercury batteries for one thing. the rest is pretty self
evident. there's a nice ev scale on it, with two ranges selected be a
toggle switch. there's a slide cover for making incident or reflected
measurements. I bought mine new a long time ago, i think i still have the
manual somewhere. if you are completely stumped i could copy it for you.
