I used to have an MPP Mark 7 but with a more mundane lens. The thing I
remember most about it was the noise it made on the day when, fitted to a
wooden Gandolfi tripod with an early quick release adapter, it dropped about
three feet onto the tarmac as I was carrying it over the main street in
Broadway in the Cotswolds. Luckily I'd closed it up and there was no
apparent damage. I sold it in the mid-'70s for £75 complete with a Lines &
Jones cold cathode enlarger. The MPP user group has a website at
