Ultra novice here: Epson Perfection 636U (newer USB-only version of the
636); about three other listies are also using the same.
Right now, I'm using the flatbed only, and plan to get the transparency
adapter (I've taken to slides now) OR get the Nikon Coolscan that fits
internally in a 3.5" drive-bay.
