The 21/3.5 is my favorite wide angle as it is sharp and contrasty from center 
to edge.  I like it better than my 35/3.5 for my Pentax 645, not because its 
sharper when blown up, which it really isn't but because it can give the 
near/far look that you get with large format photography.  The P645 doesn't 
focus closely enough for this effect. I think the Vivitar must be stopped 
down a couple of stops to reach its optimum.  I think that with the 21/3.5 
and a 28 Zuiko (any of them), you'll be better off. I would stay away from 
the 17-28, which is really a Samsung/Samyang.
