I've seen a few well diggers, but never got intimate enough to know
how cold they were.

NASA said our local peak would be between 2 and 4 AM, so I got up
around 2:30 and stayed out until 3:45. Saw a dozen or so bright
meteors that left sparkling trails, and a dozen more or so out of the
corners of my eye. It was a nice show, but nothing tow rite home
about.

Shot a couple of test exposures with the 4T and 28/2.8 on auto,
underexposed 1 and 2 stops with Provia 100, and shot a roll of CZ800
through the OM-1n and 24/2.8 with timed exposures ranging from 10
seconds to 10 minutes, mostly wide open, but one long shot closed
down. I think I caught a few meteors, but this is my first serious
attempt at Astrophotography (def: what the Jetson's dog does with a
camera), so we'll see in a week or so if I'm a champ or a chump.
