[OM] OM1n shutterspeed ring jam and lens won't mount

Brought the telescope inside because rain is predicted. Put in on the
chest freezer, and was proceeding to unscrew the tube that held the
camera. That is, it goes

scope-tube-tmount-camera

Less than one turn away, to my horror, the Tmount let go. I think it was
the extended exposure to cold, but it didn't seem to solidly built in the
first place. Camera fell perhaps 3 or 4 feet down, bounced on the floor
(linoleum I think), and settled. AFAIK, the fall was on the bottom plate's
edge, but i could be wrong. Ring was set to "B". Meter seemed to work, but
as I tried to turn the ring, it won't go past 4. In fact, from 2 onwards,
till 4, there's increasing resistance, and won't quite reach the 4
clickstop. Shutter opens and closes well at 1 and 1/2 sec, and stays open
on B. Tried to mount lens, but lens won't twist either. Ditto for Tmount.
Don't want to force it lest something else break.

What could have happend? Time to send in to Dr. Hermanson looks like :(
Please say it's a minor and temporary affliction! :-(
