There is this funny zoom on eBay; see below. I would be a good complement to
my Vivitar 35-85 Series I (72m filters)

I Emailed the seller as to the manufacturer of this lens but he could only
state that it was made in Japan and that it didn't have a manufacturer's name
on it. Tokina made a 24-40/f 2.8 ATX but this was a short squat lens I
think. Vivitar had a 24-48/3.5 Series I but the focal lengths are different.
Spiratone has a 24-40/3.5 but I've never seen this lens anywhere.
Does anyone have an idea of the pedigree of this lens?
