Just thought I would share with you folks an el-primo big cat photo op if you
are ever in Tampa; WildLife on Easy Street, Inc., is a non profit corporation
dedicated to the care of over 200 unwanted, abandoned and abused animals (mostly
big cats, such as lynxes, tigers, leopards, pumas, and a few lions). It's a
wildlife sanctuary that is home to 146 large exotic cats, including 22 species
of wild cat. When you go to their sanctuary, most of their animals are almost
tame, so they are not shy about coming out from hiding when humans are about.
So, you can get as close as you like to them (notwithstanding the cage, of
course!). Had a lot of fun there a few weeks ago; got to pet a lynx, too!
