Back in the early 1990s, there was some talk on rec.photo regarding a future
OM5/OM6 that was in development. Anyone know what features these were to
have? Or did these just become the OM3Ti/OM4Ti?

That would be a new OM3 without multi spot, auto ttl flash, titanium

Sounds like a OM1 to me.
