My dream OM-5 would actually be an OM-6.

It would retain all the features and compatibility of the Om-4T, yet
have a fully operational manual mode essentially making it a 3T as
well. Without increasing size or weight, it would also offer shutter
speed priority auto-exposure. ASA settings would run from 1 to
12800, with 2 1/3 stop exposure compensation available throughout the
range, including the extremes.

The real key elements of the 6, however would come into play when
used with the new Zuiko 2000 series lens: When the camera sensed that
a Zuiko 2000 lens was mounted, auto focus would be available, as well
as aperture display in the viewfinder. Additionally Olympus would
release a professional version of the F280 that would give useable
synchro flash up to1/1000 out to 40 feet or more.

Initial Zuiko 2000 prime lenses will include 50/1.4, 24/2, 100/2,
200/2.8, and 300/2.8, all matched and compatible with Zuiko 1.4 and
2X tele convertors. Through the miracle of modern technology, they
will also release 28-200/2.8 and 200-500/4 zooms that are optically
on par with primes, and are priced under $500.
