Vignetting with the XA I had was apparent at ALL apertures with slide
film, less a problem with neg film (either b&w or color). Generally, the
thinner the emulsion, the more apparent vignetting will be; I use Delta
100 to test for vignetting as it is a very thin single-layer emulsion
and it will show vignetting that Tri-X de-emphasizes. Overexposure also
tneds to de-emphasize optical vignetting.
