[OM] OM-2 occasionally shoots blanks

Hi All

My original camera a OM-2 has develpoed a problem; once in awhile I advance the 
film one full stroke and it isnt enough to cock the shutter. Also some shots 
were never exposed mid roll even though all the right sounds were made and I 
swore I took the picture. Has anyone else experienced this same problem? The 
cameras never been in the shop, maybe its time?
